My homage to the Pioneers who planted the old vineyards of Sonoma Valley and the field blends they created. Zin for fruit, Grenache for acid and Petite for tannin create a harmonious wine great for BBQ.
Similar to my previous Kick Ranch wines this Syrah shows classic "meaty" characters along with a cherry fruit note that is a signature of this vineyard. The softer tannin structure makes this wine easy to drink now with a variety of foods.

A signature blend of Australia created in tribute to my grandfather, Herb Loxton, who sold his grapes to a local winery making this belnd in the 1970's. Richer and rounder than a pure Cabernet, have with a steak now or cellar for another 5-8 years.
