Covid supply issues led to us bottling this wine with an extra year in barrel compared to previous releases and in screw cap 750mL bottles and I’m thinking this might have been a lucky disaster! Easier to open and close, an important feature in a wine can stay good for up to a month after opening, this is a wine to sip after the meal. That extra year in barrel has given more richness than previous releases.
