Planted around the winery are 5 acres of grapes that I took over in 2012. The Estate vineyard is shared between Syrah, Grenache, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel and Viognier which comprise 40% of annual production. The remainder of my production is crafted using purchased grapes from great vineyards under long-term contract in which I can be actively involved in the farming. Recognizing the absolute importance of the vineyard in producing wines of balance and distinction, these vineyards are special sites for their respective varieties with the right combination of dedicated growers and superb microclimates.
